How They've Grown

I love these two precious children. They are absolute gifts from God. 

Beach Day

We really enjoyed the warm, breezy weekend weather. Today we went to Capo Beach and fed the birds. It was beautiful and perfect! Jonathan and Kate really like the beach- they easily entertain themselves. Jonathan says this is his favorite beach- we got to see two trains pass by. On another note, Kate is learning new words everyday and starting to sing (Wheels on the Bus and Itsy Bitsy Spider). She is awesome!

The Holidays- 2008

We had a wonderful Christmas season. We spent lots of time at home and hanging out with extended family. We went took the kids into the Christmas service at church; they loved the music and did very well staying seated and quiet during the message. We enjoyed celebrating Christmas Eve with Justin's family. My favorite tradition they do is getting matching Christmas pajamas to wear on Christmas Eve. We wore them all day the next day!! We had fun opening presents here at home and then heading to my parent's house for a great meal and celebration. Each year gets more and more fun to celebrate Christmas with Jonathan and Kate. For New Years Eve, the four of us went out to Beachfire for dinner and Swirlz for dessert! We all went to bed at our normal time, and woke up refreshed for New Years Day. We used the long weekends to get together with family friends, neighbors, and took some trips to the beach and petting zoo. It was so wonderful to have Justin home more. Happy 2009!
